Panoramic Southern Utah views above St. George

Stone Cliff

Guard-gated custom estates on the bluff above St. George — the whole city, the red rocks, and Pine Valley spread out below, and not one home in the community built from a plan book.

About Stone Cliff

Stone Cliff occupies the high ground south of downtown St. George, and elevation is its entire personality. From its streets, the view runs across the city basin to the red rock country and Pine Valley Mountain — the kind of panorama that makes a back patio the most important room in the house. Behind a guarded gate, the community is entirely custom homes on view lots, built one at a time by individual owners and builders.

The feel is quiet, private, and deliberately residential — no commercial noise, no through traffic, and a clubhouse campus for residents. It is the address St. George buyers name when privacy and view outrank everything else.

The Homes

Every home in Stone Cliff is an individual custom build, spanning contemporary, territorial, and traditional architecture, generally on generous view lots. Pools, casitas, and outdoor living built around the sunset view are the norm at this level. Because nothing here is a production floor plan, no two listings are truly comparable — each home has to be priced and presented on its own merits: lot position, view corridor, and build quality.

Ages vary from earlier custom builds to recent construction, but design ambition is the constant. Interiors tend toward the large and the light-filled, aimed outward at the view.

Life in Stone Cliff

The View

A bluff-top panorama — city lights below at night, red rocks and Pine Valley Mountain by day. It is the community's defining asset and it does not depreciate.

Guarded Privacy

A staffed gate, no through traffic, and a purely residential setting minutes above the city — seclusion without isolation.

Resident Clubhouse

Pool, fitness, and gathering space reserved for residents, oriented to the same view the homes are built around.

Location

Stone Cliff rises above the south side of St. George — close above downtown, the freeway, and the city's medical and shopping corridors, yet visually and audibly removed from all of it. It is one of the shortest 'escapes' in Washington County: minutes from the city, in a setting that feels far above it.

Stone Cliff — Questions, Answered

Is Stone Cliff gated?

Yes — Stone Cliff is a guard-gated community with controlled access, one of only a few true guard-gated neighborhoods in the St. George area.

Are there any production or model homes?

No. Every home is a one-off custom build. That individuality is the point of the community — and why each sale here needs property-specific pricing rather than neighborhood averages.

What drives value in Stone Cliff?

View corridor first, then lot position and build quality. Two homes of similar size can sit in very different price conversations depending on what their windows face.

What should a Stone Cliff seller know?

Your buyer is buying a view and a level of privacy that cannot be built again inside the city. Presentation has to sell the setting — real film of the view at the right hour matters more here than almost anywhere else in the county.
