Entrada at Snow Canyon
Guard-gated luxury built into the red rock and black lava at the mouth of Snow Canyon — custom homes, a Johnny Miller golf course, and some of the most protected views in Southern Utah.
About Entrada at Snow Canyon
Entrada sits where northwest St. George meets the edge of Snow Canyon State Park, and the land does the talking: red sandstone, ancient lava flows, and the park's protected scenery forming a backdrop no builder can replicate. The community was built among the lava fields rather than over them, so streets curve with the terrain and homes sit inside the landscape instead of on top of it.
This is the St. George area's signature luxury address. Behind the gates are custom estates, smaller casita-style homes for lock-and-leave owners, the Entrada golf course, and a sports and fitness campus. Tuacahn Center for the Arts — the outdoor amphitheatre in the neighboring canyon — is minutes away, which makes summer concert nights a neighborhood ritual.
The Homes
Almost everything in Entrada is custom. Architecture leans desert contemporary and territorial — flat and low-pitched roofs, deep overhangs, walls of glass aimed at Snow Canyon and Pine Valley Mountain views. Lots are shaped by lava rock, so no two homes sit quite the same way, and outdoor living space is treated as a room of the house, not an afterthought.
Because the homes are one-offs, square-foot comparisons only go so far here. View quality, golf frontage, and how a home sits in the lava drive value as much as the interior finishes.
Life in Entrada
The Country Club at Entrada
The Johnny Miller–designed course threads through lava flows and red rock inside the gates — a private club that anchors the community's social life.
Snow Canyon State Park
The park's trailheads, dunes, and lava tubes are effectively the neighborhood's backyard — hiking and riding start where the pavement ends.
Sports & Fitness Campus
Pools, fitness facilities, and courts give residents a full club life beyond golf, with the park as the backdrop.
Location
Entrada is in northwest St. George, off Snow Canyon Parkway near the Ivins line. Downtown St. George is a short drive southeast; Ivins and Santa Clara are the neighboring communities to the west and south. The location trades freeway convenience for scenery — and every resident we have worked with says that trade is the point.
Entrada — Questions, Answered
Is Entrada gated?
Yes. Entrada is a guard-gated community with controlled entrances, which is part of its appeal for second-home owners who are away part of the year.
Is the golf course open to the public?
No. The Country Club at Entrada is a private club; membership is separate from owning a home in the community.
Are there smaller homes, or only estates?
Both. Alongside the large custom estates, Entrada has casita-style and smaller custom homes that suit lock-and-leave owners — the mix is wider than the 'luxury only' reputation suggests.
What should an Entrada seller know?
One-off homes need one-off pricing. View corridor, lava setting, and golf frontage can matter as much as the interior. A valuation built on true Entrada comparables — not greater St. George — is the only honest way to price here.
